Terms of service

By using this site, booking lessons, or sending the contact form, you agree to these terms and the Privacy page. If we send you a separate written agreement (for example for a prepaid package), that document wins if it conflicts on those topics.

Service. My Tutor Tech provides online tutoring in technology and coding, with limited English or math help when offered. Lessons are usually one hour, online, at the time you book through Calendly.

Pricing and payment. Current rates are on the pricing page. Lessons are prepaid in USD via PayPal, Stripe, or Zelle as we arrange at booking. Refunds follow the rules of the payment method and anything we agreed in writing for your purchase.

Cancellations and no-shows. Cancelling with less than twenty-four (24) hours before the scheduled start (per your booking confirmation) may be charged the full lesson fee. No-shows may be charged the full lesson fee.

Recordings.We do not record lessons. Students must not record lessons. Breaking that rule may end tutoring; unused prepaid balance is handled per the refund rules that applied when you paid and your payment provider's policies.

Referrals. See the pricing page. Put "Referred by" on the contact form. We confirm the referred client finished a ten-lesson prepaid block before issuing a free hour. We may decline a credit we cannot verify fairly.

Legal. Tutoring is educational help only; we do not promise grades, admissions, contest results, or jobs. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages, and our total liability for a dispute tied to one lesson is capped at the fee for that lesson. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, and you agree to courts in Texas for related disputes, except where consumer law does not allow that.
